Opening hours

Season
Open year-round
Typical hours
09:00 – 21:00 in peak; 09:30 – 19:00 in shoulder season
Worth knowing
Super Nintendo World requires a free Timed Entry Ticket (issued via app on arrival) OR an Express Pass that includes it. Without one of these you cannot enter the land.

Busy & quiet times

Quietest

  • January weekdays
  • Mid-June (rainy season weekdays)

Busiest

  • Golden Week (late April – early May)
  • Obon (mid-August)
  • Halloween Horror Nights (Sept–Oct)
  • New Year holidays

Tip — Express Pass 4 (or higher) is essentially required — it's the only way to guarantee Super Nintendo World access without queueing for a Timed Entry Ticket from 09:00.

Park guide

Everything you need to make the day work.

What to expect

Super Nintendo World is the headline — Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge is the best AR ride ever built. Donkey Kong Country added Mine-Cart Madness in 2024. Hollywood Dream — The Ride is the high-point of the original park; the Wizarding World shrinks the IOA version into a single Hogsmeade village.

Plan your day

Day 1: rope-drop into Super Nintendo World, do every ride, then Mine-Cart Madness in Donkey Kong Country, then Wizarding World after lunch. Day 2: Hollywood Dream, Flying Dinosaur, Spider-Man, Minion Mayhem, then back to Super Nintendo World after dark.

Tickets & passes

Buy Studio Pass + Express Pass 4/7 together via the official site or Klook. The Express Pass tier you choose determines which rides you get — check the included list before paying.

Insider tips

Things you'd only know on a second visit.

  1. 1

Stay at one of the official Universal Partner Hotels for Early Park Admission — saves the 09:00 sprint to the SNW Timed Entry kiosks.

  2. 2

Mario Kart single-rider line is open all day and faster than any Express Pass tier.

  3. 3

Klook regularly runs 10–15% off Express Passes a few weeks before your dates — check before paying full price.
