Park guide
Everything you need to make the day work.
What to expect
An expanded Magic Kingdom layout with six lands, including the unique Treasure Cove (Pirates of the Caribbean is the most ambitious Disney dark ride ever built) and Adventure Isle (Soaring Over the Horizon, Roaring Rapids). Tomorrowland's TRON Lightcycle is the headline coaster.
Plan your day
Rope-drop TRON, then Pirates, then Soaring Over the Horizon. Save the Roaring Rapids and Voyage to the Crystal Grotto for warm afternoons. Eat early — restaurants get walloped at lunch.
Tickets & passes
Single-day base ticket from the official Shanghai Disney site (much cheaper than third-party UK resellers). Premier Access is sold per-ride per-day.

Insider tips
Things you'd only know on a second visit.
- 1
Stay at the on-site Shanghai Disneyland Hotel for the easiest Early Magic Hours — and the morning gondola ride to the gates.
- 2
Pirates of the Caribbean is genuinely a once-in-a-lifetime experience — ride it twice, in front and back rows.
- 3
Avoid the first week of October (Golden Week) at all costs — wait times routinely exceed 4 hours.
- 4
The official Shanghai Disney Resort app works perfectly for ticketing without needing a VPN.
