Park guide
Everything you need to make the day work.
What to expect
Disneyland Park is the most immersive Magic Kingdom in the world — three Mountains, Galaxy's Edge, the original Pirates of the Caribbean. California Adventure pairs Cars Land, Avengers Campus and Pixar Pier with the Incredicoaster and a winery-style food festival every spring.
Plan your day
Day 1: Disneyland Park, rope-drop Rise of the Resistance with Lightning Lane Single Pass. Day 2: California Adventure, hit Radiator Springs Racers as you walk in. Day 3: split with Park Hopper — favourites + nighttime show whichever park is showing 'World of Color'.
Tickets & passes
Buy direct from Disneyland.com (Anaheim has no UK reseller advantage, unlike Florida). Park Hopper is worth it from day 2 onwards — both gates face each other across the esplanade.

Insider tips
Things you'd only know on a second visit.
- 1
The 'Magic Key' annual pass is sold to overseas guests when available — for trips of 5+ days the cheapest tier pays for itself.
- 2
Single-rider on Radiator Springs Racers, Indiana Jones, Matterhorn and Incredicoaster is the fastest free queue in either park.
- 3
Walk the back path through New Orleans Square at park-open to beat the Galaxy's Edge crowd to Rise of the Resistance.
